Your Journey, Step by Step
STEP 1: Explore Our Egg Donor Database
Begin by browsing our curated database of egg donor angels. click here.
– Request access to view available donors
– Browse profiles at your own pace
– Request detailed donor profiles for those you are interested in
If you prefer, we can assist by matching you with suitable donors based on your criteria.
Please note: Donors are not reserved until the formal process is completed and all requirements are met.
STEP 2: Choose your Donor
Once you have identified a donor, we will contact her on your behalf.
Donors are typically given up to 48 hours to respond, although most respond much sooner.
STEP 3: Secure your Donor
Once your donor has confirmed her willingness to proceed, your donor is secured upon payment of the Gift ov life match and management fee.
This fee includes:
– Donor recruitment and contracting
– Recipient support and contracting
– Initial donor screening and profile management
– Coordination between donor, clinic and recipient
– Medical and psychological assessment coordination
– Travel coordination (if required)
– Ongoing donor support throughout the process
Step 4: Medical & Psychological Screening
Your donor will undergo the necessary medical and psychological assessments.
This includes:
– Fertility specialist consultation
– Ultrasound scan and blood tests
– Psychological evaluation
If you have not yet selected a clinic, we can recommend leading fertility clinics or work with your preferred provider.
Timing: Approximately 2 to 3 weeks
STEP 5: Cycle Co-ordination
Your clinic will coordinate your cycle with your donor’s cycle to ensure optimal timing for embryo transfer.
This stage includes:
– Treatment planning
– Cycle alignment
– Timeline confirmation
Timing: Approximately 6 weeks
Step 6: Medication & Egg Retrieval
Your donor will begin hormone treatment to stimulate egg development.
At the same time, you will begin medication to prepare your womb lining.
The doctor will monitor progress and determine the optimal time for egg retrieval.
Timing: Approximately 2 weeks
Step 7: Fertilisation & Embryo Transfer
Once the eggs are retrieved:
– They are fertilised using your partner’s sperm
– You will receive updates on embryo development
– Embryo transfer takes place 3 to 5 days later
Any additional embryos can be frozen for future use.
Step 8: The Two-Week Wait
Approximately 12 to 14 days after transfer, a blood test will confirm whether you are pregnant.
This is often the most emotional part of the journey.
Timing: Approximately 2 weeks
